Alanna Couillard is a Director in PwC’s Deals practice, specializing in Capital Markets Accounting and Advisory Services (CMAAS), and currently serves as the Professional Accounting Fellow at Financial Executives International (FEI). In this role, she supports FEI’s accounting policy, advocacy, and thought leadership initiatives and serves as the primary liaison to several of FEI’s national technical committees, including the Financial Accounting & Reporting Roundtable (FARR), Committee on Taxation (COT), and Committee on Government Business (CGB). She leads executive-level programming, coordinates engagement with regulators, standard setters, and other external stakeholders, and supports the technical activities and strategic priorities of senior financial executives across these forums.
At PwC, Alanna advises clients on complex accounting and financial reporting matters related to transformational events, including M&A transactions and IPOs. She has experience across biotech, pharmaceuticals, technology, and private equity, supporting companies through highly technical reporting challenges. She is particularly focused on innovation in finance, including emerging technologies and operating model transformation, and has led strategic initiatives to enhance global team integration and delivery. Alanna is based in San Diego, California.
